Great tasting sake, ginjo grade quality, and is produced once a year. It is the ‘top cut’ pick of the Toji brewmaster. Highly recommended for its taste and smoothness. Probably the best quality and priced junmai Ginjo in Australia ***
Great taste, price & flavour! First squeezed sake of the year, Junmai Ginjo. Nama-chozo which means it has been made and left unpasteurised in the tank ageing and developing complex flavours until it is bottled where it is quickly pasteurised (once) to stabilise it for transport.
This is a special bottling to celebrate the 50th year of the brewmaster toji brewing sake.
Pear and apple aroma. Moderate acidity. Palate of rockmellon. Tastes of when it just rained and you walk into a field. Creamy richness. Would go well with a meat dish. Doesn’t linger too much.
